So while i wait for JDM Santa to bring me my goods, i have the dilemma of what colour to go.

It will either be Matte black to match the wheels (gloss), front lip, and grille (both matte). Or, it will be silver, to match the body.
Here is your guys chance to make your suggestions!

Personally, im leaning a fair bit more towards colour coded.

Silver - Photo borrowed from internet some where?

My vote goes to colour coded silver.
I was going to go black with my aero spats but decided against it because it's too Gen3-like :P

Color coded lip = bad.
Color codes spats/strakes = good.
I got this plan. It's called 'Save Ass'. And the way it works is this - I slip outta one of these windows and I run like a bastard!

I agree the colour coded lip looks great. I think it works well with the GTB font bar.

I would only color code the lip on a black car.

IMHO, on silver it looks shit.

Same with the aero splash guards. I didnt like them in black at all. Although I didnt mind the front one matched in with the lip.

My rear ones are currently at the painters with my JDM rear bar. 8)

Well i got to painting the spats today as some of you already know.

This is how they came, painted white, direct from Japan.

Took then, gave them a goo sanding back to clean up some grazes, and prepare the surface for primer and filler.

Primed and filled.

Got my paint mixed up at Autobarn. Their spray can machine is broken, so i had to get it mixed into a tin. Bought 250ml, but only used about 100ml.
Hard to tell in the photos, but the paint looks to be a great match to factory. Got them to mix me 'C6Z' as per the trim plate.

And finally, clear coated. Ill be letting them dry overnight, and then giving them a light wet sanding, and a final polishing.
