Front door speaker wires. 99 wagon

Hey guys

I'm trying to work out how I'm going to fit my new speakers into my front doors.
Just got some Phoenix gold ti6cs components to fit. And I'm trying not to damage car incase I ever need to replace stock gear. Not sure how to get new wires through to doors any advice would be good.

Are you going to be running them off an amp or straight off the headunit? If just off the headunit then don't worry about replacing the wiring, it's utter overkill and you won't reap any real world benefits. Even off a small power amp the real world benefits really aren't there.

If you are dead keen on replacing the wiring then take pop the two grommets off for the existing wiring loom into the door. Tape on a draw wire to the existing speaker wiring in the door, pull it through out of the door, then tape the new cabling to the draw wire and pull back into the door.

Alternatively, you can try and push a coat hanger or something through and taping the new wiring to the coat hanger, but be careful, you run the risk of puncturing the rubber grommets etc or damaging existing wiring.
