I like your first one, though would it be better if the out of focus plank of wood just to the left was cropped out?? its just distracting me from the actual photo (the sunset, the dudes fishing) =)

BTW I'd love it if you could tell me what settings you had for that photo of the stars. I'm going to Bundaberg in Jan and that is the exact style photo I want to take while I'm up there.

Thanks guys. The holiday was amazing, I'd recommend Africa to anyone. Especially if you love animals - there's nothing else like it in the world. Literally elephants all over the place - our lodges had electric fences to keep elephants out, and at Masai Mara we heard leopards quite close to our camp at night!

From memory it was something like ISO6400 20s f/3.2. No tripod so I balanced it on a canvas director's chair with a bottle of water underneath the lens to point it upwards.

I got a new 50mm f1.8 for my DSLR yesterday. Hopefully take some photos over the weekend!

Not sure if anyone is keen but im selling one of my canon lenses. .

Ef 70-200 f4 L USM.. The lens has less than 1000 shots on it and I'm only selling as I don't get to use it much. .

Perfect condition, comes with lens hood and bag..
