how many cans to plastidip the four rims?

Haha I had the exact same thought in my head.

2 cans of white and 2 cans of orange should be enough. But if you wanted to a absolutely perfect finish you could probably go 3 of each and that will be heaps

+1, I think I should really paint my rims... I am getting a lot of crap as it is...
Below car has been gone for quite some time now... blew bottom end bearing and dealership screwed me! Now driving 2008 WRX with ~65k kms on the clock. Only has cat back exhaust and tune by KiDo at the moment! More to come... but slowly!

Purchased recently (12/11/2013), already with: Stage 2 Pedders lowered springs, rear Whiteline sway bar, Advan Racing TCII 18x8 wheels, k&N pod filter, custom 3" exhaust system from turbo back with Magnaflow mufflers. ECUTEK tune of some sort (hopefully soon to be fixed)..... now FIXED!! Now KiDo Tuned!
Added: HID kit, EZ lip equivalents to the front and sides, and various LED treatments, oem boot spoiler, [LGT WRC] plates, GFB Respons BOV for extra Pssscchhh! --> Gone... I couldn't afford it's heart transplant... but keep a look out, as it will come back on sale soon!

New wheels finally found. still deciding whether to go 8.5" +42 or 8" +42...

I'd presume you're getting rid of your XXR's for the same reason as me - scrubbing?

Haha yep, not going to say what I'm looking at until they are on the car.

Scrubbing isn't so much the issue, just want 19's. always wanted 19's but could never find some I liked in my price range, and now I finally have

My enkeis that are on ATM are 8 +45 so pressumably they won't be too different to those now. I just don't think they fill out the rear enough (8 inch wide). Haha and that is the other debate... Whether or not I have the capacity to wait that long !

Im running 8.5 +45.

There'll be no issues with 3mm more. That'll fill the rear guards perfectly.
