Stock front bar blacktop, just with a very nicely done re-spray ;)
Changes the look completely!

Some of it is colour, some of it is angle, some of it is lease car restriction (for replacement tyre sizes) - some of it is that at nearly 49 years of age I don't need 20 inch doof doof bling bling wheels either with bone shuddering lack of rubber 30-35 profile

That's not a bad looking Gen V actually! Lowered tastefully and enough to look decent without going overboard with the wheels. Wheels are your personal choice, so enjoy the look. Love that colour too!

To be honest you could put Tonka truck wheels on there and it will still look too small. It's just the way they designed those stupid wheel arches.
Apparently i've never been on live television before

I am 55 and the mod bug shows no sign of relenting yet, so you young guys have got some way to go yet!

Oh, I'm not saying I don't have the mod bug either - but I am also a bit of a realist - the car is on lease, and they won't pay for replacement tyres if not the original INCH size - width and profile not an issue, but if the car comes with 18's, they won't pay for/reimburse for 19 or 20 inch tyres.... And agree, the wheels are a personal choice - there are many on here on other peeps' cars that I don't fancy (and mods that I don't fancy either), but rather than be negative, I either offer supporting comments or say nothing at all (my upbringing)... I will keep modding, gaining more power, better handling, etc - I wanted to update from my '06 Foz and because of a young son, still needed more space than a Rex could give (and wanted a sedan this time around and love Subies) - so the Gen V was my option (wanted new, not second hand)... For all the "spunk" attraction and attention, I have the green machine which gives me more than my fair share when I take it on the road.... I absolutely love my Gen V - as I've said before, they might not be the sexiest of the Libertys, but the comfort, quality, cabin fitout, power and handling, etc are everything I want or need for now... Further improvements will come along as time (and research) permits. 8)

Thanks for the supportive comments - any negative ones are appropriately filed along with my care factor about politics, religion and Fords

I'm 40.5 ha ha mines on 19's with 35's, I don't find it shuddering at all. Each to their own I reckon. As long as you are happy with them that's all that matters, I also tried to get something different so it wasn't like everyone else.
Cheers

I agree completely Egg - I wanted to get something that I liked and that are completely different to the standard STI or similar copies look that most seem to have... :jester:
