Lighten Crank Pulley

Postby moatchiu » Mon Mar 24, 2008 10:34 pm

Hi Guys,

Wondering whether is it worthwhile to replace the stock crank pulley with the lighter ones from Zerosports, Perrin, etc.......

It's supposed to improve pickup. Any comment on this is welcome.

I got the two pulley GFB set.

And for the $$ I would get something else such as a tune.

Could not feel any direct noticeable gain from the pulley.

Spend the $300 and put it towards a tune where you actually feel noticeable gains.

the purpose of the pullies is to help the engine spin up or down quicker.

biggest noticable change will be in rev matching.

i suspect that it will help in the AT as well.
