Introduce yourself

welcoming myself

Welcoming myself .. this is an awesome club, gotten heaps of tips already especially with the detailing and care. Nice work to the organisers & contributors.
I've been eyeing Liberty's for ages as it's one car that has always caught my eye - especially the 4GEN with its sharp lines. So I've gotten it out of my system by picking up this fine B-Spec 2009. Some drunk driver crashed into my last good car back in 2004 so i've been driving a gutless Astra until now.
Whoever owned this one did a stellar job. It's very well kept and goes like the rocket you all know.
and now I'm loving it!

Oh I just read the new member info.
Plans for Car: enjoy it & keep it looking good. (that's my new hobby)
Modifications: Keep it as-is... Looks great.
DOB: Year of the Snake so 36 next year.
Interest: playing drums, driving (now)
Previous rides: Astra, TX5 V6 (said written off vehicle..), Telstar 4 cyl...

Howdy,

Glad you are giving a fun car a shot.

They are terrific allrounders I just recommend doing the sway bars, with a 2.5L you will be happy .....a tune could help with the flatspot that most of them have.....

Enjoy and kudos for having another shot (ive nearly died in a few cars) not wiv me driving though!

forgot to mention this one's the 3.0 H6 with the auto. Still getting the hang of it but needless to say it's spending most of it's time in S or S# mode ...

Welcome mate, that picture is awesome. Makes the car look like a mirror, very mint

thanks folks, yes I love this car! so does the missus, especially that I set her drivers seat memory as 'number 1'. few brownie points there..
whoever had it before me obviously knew how to care for a car for good resale. apparently the guys at Subaru said this guy is a regular and this was about his 4th liberty... So now the pressure's on me to keep this car looking this good. Thank goodness for the Detailing forum in here :)
i'm in W.A. - must update my profile, thanks. Looking hell forward to a nice drive down South.
