Im driving with a constant smile on my face. When the gears change it doesnt sound like an auto now....hehe.
1-2-3 gears are smoothhhhh, all the auto drivers will know what im talking about....
S# mode is f*king insane ! Feels like ive added bigger turbo.
It also sounds different. Matt says "pull the car over, I dont quite like the sound of car sitting idle, gotta change it"

Just got back from a tune with Matt and "genius" is accurate!

As soon as the laptop was switched on Matt spotted some serious knocking issues my engine had. Sorted very quickly!

Amazing transformation. Best way to describe it? When I now accelerate in 5th gear, it feels like 3rd gear pre-tune.
I live with fear everyday, but sometimes she lets me go driving.

As everyone else has been saying. Couldn't be any happier with matt and what he has done to the car. Fantastic job mate!

After a few weeks of driving around I think I can fairly comment on fuel economy. The car has a lot more power and the turbo spools up faster earlier than before so I wasn't sure how the fuel economy would change. Pre tune I drove the car in S and S#, I averaged 13.0l/100km pretty consistently, it would head up to 13.8 after a bit of a drive through the hills, or a drive through the city in peak hour traffic.

Now that it's been tuned I've been driving the car a little harder. Even still my economy hasn't breached 13.0 at all, I'd imagine I could get it down quite a bit once my right foot calms down. What's interesting is that I had to do quite a few drives through peak hour traffic in the last few weeks for exams, and my fuel economy has actually gone down to 12.8 rather than increasing as I would've expected.

Obviously these aren't huge changes but given how much more regularly I've been opening it up in second, or letting it spool up in 4th I'm very happy with the improvements. I've been driving between S and S# a lot since, my S# button is getting quite the work out as I've gotten used to switching between the two, even tried to hit S# in my other car at one point... Intelligent mode still doesn't get much use unless I have someone else in the car, but it is very driveable still, I just find S is more than smooth enough.

Matt, is the man :king2: without a doubt in my mind.

Real nice bloke to deal with and talk to, and he has a novels worth of car stories of his own :good:

My car is MY10 Liberty GT manual and I knew straight away there was a big difference in power, especially when I tried to take off quick at the lights with Matt still in the car and it started to spin all 4 wheels (bloody traction control was on). But I didn't really appreciate the extra acceleration until I was driving through normal traffic on the way home. You have to be bloody careful of how quick it spools up now if in the right gear and have S# selected.

With that said, the low down power has also made the car much more of a pleasure to drive. Normally I would go back to 2nd going through slower round-a-bouts and turning at some intersection, but now I can do this in 3rd and it doesn't feel or sound like I am laboring it to much.

A big thumbs up from me and I just want everyone to know of my new found power :yahoo:

Thanks Matt, Kev

just got my tune today and goddamn son its good but the low fuel economy is a lie mine went up(haha because i drive it on the red line now) nahh honestly fuel economy was going down during the tune which really suprized me. so much nicer to drive. the tune gave me so much power it was ripping offf wheel weights when i gunned it. matt is a really nice bloke not shy to answer any questions. all in all i would definitely go back to him for a tune

My assumption on economy is similar. The economy per tank just gets better as I relearn where the sweet spot is with the cars new power. I'm now finding my car is just improving more and more on fuel. Best to date is 11.2 with 90% city driving and a combo of S and S#.

I'm bouncing between 13.6 and 14.6, so it hasn't really gone down a lot. But that wasn't entirely the point

My average since I purchased it (almost 6,000km now) is still floating around 14.4

I'm dreading what it looks like after the Track Day in Feb
