Subaru Australia don't seem to much care either, but that's the place to direct your concerns with the product if you have any. The seats are just a personal thing, but the headrests are a design fault, you cannot obtain an optimal, safe driving position the way they are set.

Here you go:

http://www.subaru.com.au/main/contact-us/

I found the best way to deal with the headrest issue is to put the seat rake (ie angle) back a wee bit, so that the headrest lies back a bit more vertical, rather than pointing forward so much. It is a pretty bad compromise, but after a day or two, I got used to a slightly more laid back driving position (not that i'm lying down "a la Guido in his fully sik WRX).

As for Subaru Australia's contact web page... did that over a month ago about the extremely poor spare parts delivery (ie. took nearly 4 months to fix my car after a crash!!)... they're response was "We'll get back to you soon".... I had to write back a month later asking whether soon was going to be this year... they did write back but just saying they're still investigating....
So again, Subaru Australia's attitude seems to be pretty poor once they have your folding for the original purchase.

All I have done so far is fit the grille and specB badges, put a spacer under the rear plate so it doesnt vibrate when you shut the tailgate, and double mount the front plate so its centred vertically on the front bumper - just looks neater to me, and doesnt hang into the front scoop. For me the Diamond Grey is just as nice as black in showing a shine, and the black/white plates look really good on it IMHO.

JP, diamond grey is one of my fav colours, in the sun the metallic flakes shines through when the car is clean. Yeah I agree, the lines are sharp on that colour.

Nice pics mate, the grill is looking good and I the Spec B badge suits it perfectly :D

I know he was looking for one, but I am not sure if he already purchased one...

Somebody suggested here that the gunge on part of the compliance plate was to do with spraying datadots on the car. I also have some of this on the build plate at the base of the B pillar. They can stay there, but now I find I have some similar looking stuff on the front wheel centres, which will have to come off. Its picking up dirt and brake dust. Its not water soluble, so does anybody know whats the best way to get this off? Anybody else seen this in places where it should be?

Look in the engine bay, you should notice it sprayed on bits in there.

I also saw it on the inside of my spare rim. could be on the rest of em but i havent looked.

Rosso.

Whatever the stuff on the wheels was, it needed petrol to get it off. Was too sticky to be stuff coming out of front hubs , but its gone now.
Speedo - verified ECU figures with GPS yesterday. Cruise control at a steady indicated 108, ECU said 101-102, GPS matched within 1 kph. 6% is enough to be annoying IMHO. Will see what they say at first service, but not holding my breath.

haha, that's what they said to me, "The GPS is wrong, Subaru said the US government makes it wrong". They turned SA of f in 2000.
