Making Spec B Grille from stock grille?

Postby Tim_ » Wed Nov 07, 2012 2:52 pm

Hey all,

I have been searching for a while now but cant find anything along the lines of this. I dont really know what the grille is reffered as (i think the spec b grille or maybe sti grille)

Currently have this grille

Have my stock grille at home:

and want to turn it into this:

Or this

I have seen someone on here make a grille before but i think it was the stock grill to a corazon grille.
Can anyone either/or:
1) Tell me if this is possible?
2) Share any links or info that would help me

Thanks so much
Tim

Yes you can make one like this
viewtopic.php?p=228509#p228509

or like this
viewtopic.php?f=20&t=16488

Info is in the second thread I'm pretty sure.

You can't turn a stock grill into a corazon grill, corazon is a brand & not a re-modelled stock grill.

Thanks for your help Zach.

Link 1 is what i want to make
Link 2 gives me a good idea on how to make it (this was the link i was reffering to in 1st post) one thing i am trying to get my head around wether to curve or bend the mesh to give that slight bulging look. Maybe im just tripping out and its actually flat.

Thanks again.
