Hi guys!

For a 3.0rb how many ks is too many when looking at buying in your opinion?

I was about to purchase a MY05 with 110k on the clock last weekend, but after i set up a detailed inspection the owner said his parents now want the car and its no longer for sale

So back on the hunt i go!

Given the engine is looked after, is there a magic number that may become problematic if buying used or is it more an issue of less potential for resale down the track?

no magic number.
i wouldn't hesitate to buy one with up to 200k on it provided that it's been well maintained and things like bushes, ball joints shocks have been replaced when needed.


I bought mine with 130k and it's still like new

Go over the car thoroughly

The engines do generally seem well built ............ apart from the odd head gasket issue
