Settle down you lot! I am the one who should be getting excited!

Well, we will see what the numbers are like in the 0-100 times first. Went a little backwards from the last image, but economy and shifting are both improved. The shifting was my main focus, the economy is an unexpected bonus. But I do be wanting my power back combined with the shifting will be an awesome daily.

Started to play with the centre section of the grille and these are the rough in shots, to see if I like the concept:

Still needs a complete frame and I am working on that part. Also needs some blackout work behind the mesh for consistent look with the fog lights surrounds.

Personal opinion...but one piece of mesh too many. I think you should leave the middle empty to highlight the rest.
I got this plan. It's called 'Save Ass'. And the way it works is this - I slip outta one of these windows and I run like a bastard!

Yes, all good feedback. I will not do anything permanent in case I decide I don't like it, then a snip or two and back to stock! The blackout work could be done with some matt black film that can be removed later.

Yeh get rid of the middle piece, have it how the post facelift spec B bar is, with just the grille and fog light inserts with honeycomb...

I say stick to the plan, with the blackout done properly, you may not even require a frame in the center (unless required to locate the mesh). :good:

Thanks all for the feedback. I'll try for a bit better finish, then make a d after that.

I got a nice surprise in my email last night! My 1st E85 image!

Can't wait to burn off the tank of fuel I filled up with earlier this week so I can try it out.

Stay tuned (no pun intended) for the results, posting soon!
