Thought it was about time to post up a profile...

Name: Kris
Current Car: MY04 Premium Wagon OBK Pearl "dealership special" pfft...
Previous rides: 79 VB SLE, 76 HX Custom Ute, 96 VS Statesman, 88 VN Calais, 02 BMW 325i
Project Cars: 64 XM Falcon 4 door. Just got dropped on its guts and vinyl wrap. Pics to come...
Interests: Songwriter/Guitarist, Cars, Industrial/Graphic/Furniture/Vehicle design, Ye Olde art of signwriting/scroll & line work, shiny things, beer, MTB downhill..etc
Occupation: Musician/Graphic Artist/Signwriter/Production Manager LF Digital

Current mods to date
Cosmetics - Factory/already on the car ----> JDM HL covers, Side Skirts (unknown) Front bar Lip/Spoiler (unknown), Mesh Recessed Grill (unknown)
Mods by me ----> rear mudguard removal, color coded badges, chrome hatch thingy color coded, chrome shifter ring also color coded, rear number plate surround dealer name delete, repair & color code, brake caliper refurb painted gun metal metallic, more to come...
Handling - Bilsteins & Phat S-Techs + rear spacers by Mark ----> LCA's, Sway etc... still to come
Exhaust - Xforce cat-back, Xforce mufflers sedan type (= no sticky outy) and high-flow cat + air box resonator mod (not removal) K Spec (DIY)
Wheels - upgraded to Spec B for now...might plasti dip maybe next weekend.
Lighting - LED interior, LED parkers & number plate, PIAA JDM yellow fogs, OSRAM Nightbreakers.
Audio - Stock + K Spec (DIY) Bluetooth/Media Solution

Building a house at the moment so once that's done I'll most probably upgrade to 08 GT, 08 3RB or Passat R36 wagons of course :) its nothing special as this is my first Liberty, but the 2.5i does its job for now.

It used to be really clean until some knob end reversed into my rear bumper with an uber long exhaust and melted it! Bastardo!

Nice. :good:

Front lip, side skirts and sports grill are all genuine factory options.

Matching rear lip would really finish it off nicely but you'd need the JDM rear bar also.

Got bored... So I stripped & sprayed (OBPearl )the old peeling chrome finish off. It took while, but I was a bored times. Just me and stanley knife :?

Big PITA! It took about 2hrs of full on prying and coaxing that stuff off. Then 10 mins fine wet n dry & about 20 mins spray 3 coats + 2 Clear. But i like the result. Still need to sand with 1500 and polish. Next is to tackle all the scratches in rest of the console. Bloody dog keeps jumping in and going mental all over the shop. :?
