I say they are easy (but I have done it a few times

). I have sold hundreds to the US and nobody had issues. The hardest part, if you want to pinpoint 1 area, would be taking out the center console. Even that is not bad. Just yank in a careful fashion.
Here are some pics.
Pop out the console evenly around
Undo top connector when it come visible (this is for light in cubby area)
Undo lower connector (for trip computer)
Now you have the console out
Take out just 3 screws to disassemble the console, the cubbypod snaps right into the part seen below. This is the "top" of the cubby storage area with the door attached.
Once the cubbypod is snapped in, it looks like this
Then install the console back together just like you took it apart

Gauges at a nice angle towards the driver.... and you can still close the door !!!!
The install is completely reversible, requires no cutting, no additional hardware, and provides an OEM look.
