It's the manager's job to sell overpriced junk. He'll probably get an award.

Rallying is not cheap.

Although your car probably was unsafe, you got stitched up. Chalk it up as a learning experience.

Pedders are a bunch of thieves... proven time and time again...
I drive a Golf Gti but been looking at switching to an auto so been looking at Liberties.

Last time I went to Pedders to check out a light knocking noise I was given a 2.5k quote to replace my 'dodgy chinese' KW coilovers as advised by the mechanic there, with Pedders coilovers.
They were the root problem of everything, EVEN though there was no change in the way the car drives. The light knock could only be heard at very slow speeds when coming off the driveway.

When I told the guy my coilovers were actually german made and had lifetime warranty he looked very disappointed. I've had other work done at Pedders, all overpriced but I couldn't be stuffed waiting for parts.
