Finally got some decent god damn speakers!! YES!
Pioneer 350W 6" x2 -they match my head unit. I will get the other 2 next month. just wanted to see if they were good before buying 4. and they are soooo much better! the Kenwood ones i had in there were just awful. i really don't like that directed speakers thing.

Edit: they remind me of the movie 'Coneheads'

yes indeed Chris, they fit perfectly in there. i almost mounted them to the dash because they came with this cool surround/mount thing which looked good. but CBF wiring that lol.
the speakers protrude too much by maybe a mm or two. makes the door card pop off... ill have to make a thinner mounting spacer

That's awesome and pics are a must :) and that sucks that they stick out too far and some fun modding will be needed to fix that or get a hammer on those cones

haha its not the cones that hit. all i have to do is put a thinner bit of MDF in there, pretty easy

oh lol no I've replaced speakers more times than i care to count, so i didn't think to take pics. its the easiest thing ever. take old ones out. put new ones in, you may have to cut the old wires then attach to the new speakers. thats about it.
but yes i like to pump the music. especially when some uleh rolls up in his fully tabouli-mobile, pumping some gay post 2000 hip hop crap. i then like to respond with with some 'As Blood Runs Black'... the looks i get are classic... :D

still to be convinced on the green. re-painted my wheels today and am going tyre shopping this weekend for prices, once blaaaaaaack rims are on ill get the full picture of what its like.
