Thanks Matt, the retune (post dump pipe install) is sensational!
Basically, "I" is like "S" was after the stock tune and so on.

I'm fast tracking the 200Kw rated clutch, DW65c pump and TMIC to TB hose upgrades!
(and everything else not yet installed)

Was nice to finally meet you last night Matt after hearing so much about your tunes.

I was spewing i missed the car with the meth kit, but sounds like his issues with the kit caused delays and problems with his tune.
I also wanted to see the car on after Bruce as that engine sounded like a real monster, but how did it end up going?

It was interesting to see you in action at RTR tuning the liberty on the dyno. It's a shame that it didn't reach the claimed 205 number, or the original 220 for that matter, but feedback is that it is smooth to drive.

Is there any reason you can think of why a car with the mods it has only made 185.6 on the dyno? I've seen this car make more power in the past with other tunes.

To be perfectly honest, i'm curious to know because i was considering a vf52 turbo like on that liberty so i could up my power level a little further with a bolt on turbo, but seeing this car tuned left me wondering about any gains at all since i already make more power than this on the stock vf46. I assumed the vf52 would net more gains???

Also, I know Ain had his car on the dyno at RTR recently and received a figure from there, but with the rollers being programmed 20mm out on the wheelbase length, does that effect his result? Would it read higher because the wheels are sitting higher on the rollers or lower? It was quite funny watching all of us rip out our phones to google search the wheelbase length of the liberty. :)

Finally I have to admit, I'm very impressed with the upcoming LC and flat foot shifting ability that you were talking about last night!

Also, Daniel from RTR seemed like a guy who knows his stuff and was nice enough to explain a few things to me. Very informative.

Thanks and again, it was nice to finally meet you.

Great meeting you as well!

Yes, the car is missing some kw on the dyno but considering one of the power runs was a comparison to an existing tune and the 4.4% gain in peak power and 11% increase in midrange torque seems to indicate that the interwarmer was heat soaked and killing power after so many power runs.

Ain made a similar figure on his first power run... Yet which car would be quicker? Ain.also made more power than a leaner LGT tune with a TBE which did a power run the same day :)

Black STi did was a complete MAF rescale purely as the injectors were sized incorrectly and MAF scaling was causing idle issues. I moved peak torque to come on earlier and hold torque longer ghan its previous tune AND ran richer. Owner is very happy with the results in driveability too!

Matt with the silver forester made over 150Kw@2800rpm... Say goodbye to his clutch ;)

I actually fitted the Meth Kit to Marks blue my06. The kit works fine and is expecting once all the issues are soughted up to 240atw. Wastegate not holding boost or something was an issue and knowing Mark it will be back with avengance! and more work for me  , sounds like Mr Th was a buzy man!

Just got back from getting the tune done. I'm pretty bloody impressed.

My car is bog stock. Only had a measily 98kw at all 4 stock. Matt did his magic and got me 135kw at all 4. Power and torque improvement in all modes. The gear shift adjustments is something else! So smooth and instant. Its a true pleasure to drive now. A massive thanks to Matt and Bill at towler performance.

Graph print out coming soon.
Cheers

Wow. So mine only went from 143kW to 156kW, but driveability (which is what I wanted) is soooooo incredible. Instant power, smooth shifts, even something silly like Intelligent Mode is now useful!

Matt, you're a wizard, and big thanks to Bill Towler for the dyno time!

I reckon my initial power readout was incorrect. I believe I ran 124.4 stock not 98 as initially thought. That first run I think was to get the dyno registering for my car. I also am due for a service so I reckon there was room for more on the dyno too. Overall I'm wrapped and have noticed fuel economy distance to empty has shot up by 70km. Super happy with that.
