329.x on godzilla dyno did 127mph.

Both h6 turbo liberties. One 1650kg, the other a gen4 and probably about the same. Which is a happy dyno you think

12.2 with 336kw at the fly more like it

Didn't Gambit get 12.2 with only 275kw atw??

I think we should clarify that we're not hanging shit on the mobboss in any way

Obviously a great car - just saying the power output per dyno may be a little on the anxious side

In any event any street car running 12's at 1500+ kg is a good feat

Just a bit of a shame it's not setup to take full advantage of what's available

And kiks I know what you're saying about torque spread - but my point is with the massive amount of peak torque available fairly early you would think on a tt ez30r, that the et would reflect this

Ie let's assume same cars, same power output same driver etc - one with more peak torque earlier in the rev range should in reality run a quicker time albeit mph would be identical

Bear in mind the time has less relevance in this case than the mile per hour. At that end of the street car spectrum the time is made or ruined in the 60'. One car could launch like a demon, two step at peak torque and drop the clutch hook up and go, and run a 12.2, and another car could bog down off the line and run a 12.2. The time relates to how well the car is set up and driven, the mph relates to how much gristle it has.
Kinda flush. Fitment is something. ADM as F*ck.

12.15 @118mph with a VF48 powered MY11 STi on pump fuel. Tyres squirm all the way through 2nd and 3rd gear, has broken rear axles 4 or 5 times launching hard from the lights on the street.

Another VF48 tuned STi makes 219Kw@wheels on just 12psi on the Northside 4x4 dyno(a true tough one) due to wastegate actuator issues but no track outing until we can lift boost. It has 54% injector duty on ID1000's on 12psi

I have a customer in Brazil who is doing 10's on 22psi, never been on a chassis dyno but Virtual Dyno power figures indicate why the ID2000's are maxed out on E100

Maybe they ought to stop driving like that or toughen up the car.

And that is why I'm so anxious for you to confirm a date for my tune, matt!!! :)

Whilst I'm thread highjacking I might add that I filled up a tank of united 100 last night and can feel a difference in smoothness already. Hopefully you can tune this p.o.s of mine on 85 and 100 for me in the coming week ;)

6 speed axles are a weak point, they sheer/twist off at the CV joint! Have since upgraded to the Group N shafts

Yeh but I was sure he did the quarter mile run before he retuned it for E85?

His run was on E85

he did that time at heathcote on e85 not sure if he ran it anywhere else before this though, his car would have gone faster if he had a few more runs im sure..

I agree with the sentiment though that driving hard enough on the street to break things is a tad stupid (we're talking public roads here, right?).

Up to an individual on how they drive on the street and whether they want to take it to the track
