Owen? not sure what you purchased? But try to make sure you get a new release bearing if it doesn't already come with one? :)

I won't be at this point. It's a temporary fix after Lachlan drove my car and literally dropped half my clutch on Doncaster rd. When I get my new daily I'm gonna rip this engine apart, and hopefully ur build will be finished and I can just replicate it lol :D . Reaching my 1'35 target at Winton has proved to be quite optimistic even with 200kw.

I got the sports organic, didnt know they made a hd version. The only one that got told i could use was the hdcb clutch with was a cushion button. Is that what you ordered?? If so they were cheaper then the sports organic for some un know reason. I paid $795 for my SO with a retail of $1395 which is just bloody silly. Mine should be going in next friday! So we shall see.

the organic is better than the one that i got. its a step up from the HD which is literally the oem one with a bit more clamping power

Ok guys, the new clutch is in and I've done about 500kms of soft driving since the install.

My new clutch is making a supercharger-like whining noise during hard acceleration. Does anybody know what the issue could be?

Did you replace the thrust bearing?
When there on the way out they do this.

Also the spigot can whine, but when a gear is engaged and your accelerating it is not spinning the bearings.

OMG.

well the whine has been resolved and it wasn't the clutch. my pod filter fell off during the installation of the clutch and the whine was coming from my podless intake

it sounded bloody awesome though!
