Canberra wheel repair, cracked wheel, is it reversible?

Postby joshsh » Mon Sep 24, 2012 4:48 pm

I apologise if this has already been covered. So I did this over the weekend, thanks to whoever left the piece of steel plate in the middle of the road. Such a small piece so much damage.

Anyways 1st. Is this reversible? and 2nd does anyone know anywhere in canberra that could fix this? cheers

Bummer, I'd post it to Neway in Melbourne for the repair...
They do come up in the Fs occasionally: I have a gunmetal spare (rashed) if you need a swapsie for a shadow chrome...

Cheers Ben. Fortunately for me I still have my magna lying around, and the spare is still good. So won't need to take you up on your offer, but thanks.

Talking to the guys at jax quickfit in queanbeyan, they told me to contact 'Rallimax Sport' in Mitchell as the apparently have the machinery to do these sort of repairs, so i'll check them out. Alternatively this may be the excuse I need to go and get new wheels.
