A bloody commodore driver with a tow bar decided that a full emergency stop for an amber light was a good idea. The brembo's which were cold and the front of my car decided that they didnt think an emergency stop was a good idea and thus had a small but painfull meeting with her bumper and tow bar.

Oh damn... same thing happened to me 2 weeks ago, however I was the one that did the braking... Came over a crest and a taxi was still with its hazard lights on... wtf!! Braked, ABS kicked in, and I stopped with about 4m to spare, then short screech and thud into the back of me! :x

I swear, a lot of people need to retake their driving and awareness tests again!!

Sorry to read about this mate, but hopefully insurance will do its thing and fix it all up!
Below car has been gone for quite some time now... blew bottom end bearing and dealership screwed me! Now driving 2008 WRX with ~65k kms on the clock. Only has cat back exhaust and tune by KiDo at the moment! More to come... but slowly!

Purchased recently (12/11/2013), already with: Stage 2 Pedders lowered springs, rear Whiteline sway bar, Advan Racing TCII 18x8 wheels, k&N pod filter, custom 3" exhaust system from turbo back with Magnaflow mufflers. ECUTEK tune of some sort (hopefully soon to be fixed)..... now FIXED!! Now KiDo Tuned!
Added: HID kit, EZ lip equivalents to the front and sides, and various LED treatments, oem boot spoiler, [LGT WRC] plates, GFB Respons BOV for extra Pssscchhh! --> Gone... I couldn't afford it's heart transplant... but keep a look out, as it will come back on sale soon!

What i dont get is why she needed to do a full abs stop for a just gone amber light??? She and about 3 more car behind me would have made it throught the lights. Half her car was in the intersection by the end of it.

But at the end of the day, i ran up her bum and thats my fault!! Atleast now i will have a nice new shiney front end in about 2-3 weeks

when i crashed a previous car i think it took about 5-6 weeks to get fixed.

i guess it depends how bad the crash is and where the parts need to be sourced from. maybe guys that have been involved in an accident in their libs can share how long theirs have taken to get fixed?
