I had some time on my hands this arvo and started to play with the fog light surrounds.

They now look like this:

I've always wondered what it would look like to change the fog light surrounds to a honey comb mesh!

Top job Mark! :good: i love it!

It is growing on me each time I see it and I am really considering to make a centre section as well with some small amount of fixing to hold it in place. Will investigate some pin type toggle fasteners to see what is available. And a rubber edge frame that can go around the outside of the plastic mesh.

It is just a stock flat mesh from eBay (courtesy of Cruisn) and hand cut with standard side cutters to sit directly on top of the standard fog light surrounds. Held in by four plastic tie straps poked through some small holes drilled through the fog light surround. Really rough job as it took best part of 30 minutes and surprised how good it looks in the end.

I did buy in a pair of new fog light surrounds in case I did not like the finish, so now these are sitting on the shelf in the garage. Meh!

Just had another idea!

If I was to extend the mesh all the way and cover the fog lights, remove them completely and then custom mount some DRL, I think it would look pretty smick!

Anyone good with Photoshop? I can send the original photos?

Looks good. Very professional.
I got this plan. It's called 'Save Ass'. And the way it works is this - I slip outta one of these windows and I run like a bastard!

Woohoo, bring on zee power, them 550cc injectors will be coming into their own now and thats gonna be some big power with no intercooling, which of course is all possible on the sugarcane juice (Australian version) :D . The cane stuff is produced just down the road from me (by Sucrogen) and shipped all over Aus for blending into Petrol

Is that on original Supercharger pulley or is is something smaller? If on same pulley there there is some SERIOUS headroom for power gains here. 10psi intercooled with E85 is going to make some insane numbers for whoever puts the combo together - 280kw at treads could be possible ............
