How did you go? Just over the weekend I twigged that you may know a co-worker of my partner, Gavin, he is in the MG club and was there this weekend (Blue VE wagon)

I didn't damage the car, so that's a big plus!
Came second-in-class in the sprint. There's a race prepared MGA that's about 7 seconds quicker than me, so no chance of catching him.
Was Gavin towing a red Midget with the VE? If yes, he packed up early with an oil leak.

All I can confirm is that it is red, only seen it once and discussed it at the same time but I will find out. No damage is always good and second is a fantastic result :)

Tune was knock free but looks like the culprit was a common issue and explains the 40kw power loss over what it had on the road to Sunbury.

Ben's car had the CEL knock patch(any knock would flash the CEL) and Ben said it drove fine coming off the dyno, spun the bearing on startup later that afternoon. Culprit appears to be mechanical and is an issue with the 08 2.5L engines for the Forester and WRX that threw big ends... even from the factory!

Hey Bryce, it was good to see you again! Love the unique look of your foz but i have to say, there's way too many stickers on the back of that thing. ;) (the new TMIC looks very clean!!!)

I was going to come over and chat to you after your dyno run but you looked a little upset? The number you pulled seemed okay for a foz and no one mentioned that you were having any issues? Anyway, hope all is well.

I wish you had said hello. I wasn't upset but was thinking about a couple of things related to the tune I had flashed just before the dyno run. Catch up next time.

There have been a number of totally stock Forester XT's that have spun a bearing, but they were all MY09 2008 build. (like mine :bad: )
