That's probably the side retaining clips, I have used some tape to help them hold a bit tighter again. New clips will help but also where it holds the bumper wears with the age so clips don't always fix it 100%

ahh okay, i've had a look at where the clip is on the bumper on my car and it does look worn out.

but on the spare bar i have which is getting painted and fitted up this week, it doesnt look worn out which might just work.
thanks Karl :D

Tom, no more thread hijacking from me :)

Haha all good mate 8)

Hey guys, i have something new to show you :D, as a few of you know i almost purchased some white rota grids off some guy on gumtree, however i ended up just being stuffed around and in the end he decided he wanted to keep the wheels :angry2: anyway, the good news is i've finally purchased a set of rims, went through vision r in the end, with a cost of only $999 im pretty stoked,i went with some G-Forces in hyperblack 18x9 +35, im hoping to have these fitted tomorrow. To be honest im a bit nervous about fitment, hopefully it will be fine, i will be running a 225/40 tyre, my gaurds are rolled and ive added a little camber to my front coilovers, what do you guys think?? if worst comes to worst i guess i can just raise it a bit, anyways heres a few pics 8)

225/40's on a 9" wide wheel

that'll be a bit of stretching, wont it?

not heaps i run 225 on 8.5 rim and there is minimal stretch barely noticable, half an inch more is not heaps, just got to be careful when parking as there is no rubber protection! ;)

Haha ah well, words out....
Anyway, wheels are finally are on the car, scraped like sh#t all the way home from the wheel shop lol ( just the back end ) so i ve just raised it 15 mm ish, now it seems fine, still pretty low looking too :D fronts seem fine at the height they were already so i left them, here s a few pics, sorry for the poor iphone quality, i promise to get some better ones up asap,
Edit: one more thing, these rims did not come with those centre ring thing s to go over my hubs and the ones off my previous rims wont fit ( smaller diameter ), can anyone tell me the best place to get these?? Cheers
