Brake shudder or LCA bushes

Just to confirm my diagnosis.
MY06 3.0RB with 135K on it

If i'm doing around 70Km/h or above and push the brakes to pull up at a set of lights in a sedate fashion, i get a shudder through the steering wheel only.
if i push the pedal harder the shudder goes away.
jumping hard on the anchors at any speed does not give the shudder.
if i just brush the brakes at highway speed to wash off 10km'h it also shudders.

I'm thinking LCA's as dodgy rotors should shudder all the time, and give feedback through the pedal

I had same symptoms when my bushings were gone. I would go with white line or similar if I were u. Mine needs replacing again. Stock ones are shit!

Mate I'd be having a look at your front brakes and getting the discs machined. They will not necessarily shudder all the time. Shudder through the steering wheel is nearly always warped front discs. Take it to your mechanic to have a look

I got quite harsh shudder upon hard braking with my shagged LCA bushes, which is almost completely gone now under the exact same conditions with JSpeed LCA bushes.
