Notice the badly fitting glovebox lid? Turns out it was warped. Previous owner must've tried to stuff too much in there at some stage. Went to the wreckers today and found a straight replacement. $77 - all fixed!
Got yourself a bargain there by the looks of it. There seem to be a few bargains around lately. I paid top dollar for mine a few months back, mind you it had the lowest kms for it's model and it is in mint condition. But I could've saved myself $5000 plus if I was more patient. Like you I bought mine interstate sight unseen, however I flew down to collect, as I REALLY wanted to enjoy driving her home. Enjoy
Firstly welcome, good looking ride... that interior!
I'm just curious as i was looking at buying a bargain (not a lib) a little while back from QLD, when a mate mentioned to me about flood damage from the big wet they had up there. Might be worth a look now, as the potential for long term damage could be a real pain. Don't mean to worry you, but it might be worth checking out while your still under the cooling off/dealer warranty period.
Geez Bosco I never thought of that. I'm 99% sure there was no flood damage as I think I would've noticed something by now, but just in case, what are some telltale signs??

Thanks Corsair. Yep the 3.0R has the different bumper and the ivory interior as opposed to the 3.0RB. Just upgrade the suspension to Bilsteins (as i just did) and you have the best of both worlds!
