i'd be very interested in seeing how this pans out. :D

and if u choose to go with the custom set up, how the cost and reliability stacks up.

Good Luck if u choose to go Turbo :)

LOL
as if im going to put a intercooler when its in n/a form.. I just photoshopped that intercooler on my car to get an idea of how i want it to look/sit..

Apparently running 8psi shouldnt be a problem with good tuning and good fuel...

I was considering supercharging at first using a vortech blower but went against it..

LOL as if id be cruising around in a interfooler LOL thats just wrong..

Well im going to try do it on a budget and pick up the intercooler, turbo, bov second hand off ebay... get an exhaust place to fab up a up pipe (connect it to the original extractors) dump pipe hooked up to the standard exhaust with new hi flow cat... air intake
The only thing im not going to take any chances with is the ecu, ill probably go haltech...

Or you could just sell it all, and buy a turbo model.

You would save yourself a lot of headaches, and running only low boost will get to you over time.

The GT's are ok, but even with 150+ kwatw they are not that quick, so I can only assume that a custom setup would be slower and less room for improvement without big $$ being spent.

If mine was NA and I wanted to make it quicker, I would go a blower.

Not as many people have them, and you could tighten the belts to make it whistle it's tits off

As Skooby GT said I would avoid the heartache and expense of trying to turn an n/a into a turbo charged libo. Just sell the n/a Libo and buy yourself a GT Spec B.

How much is the blower kit?
also my dad had a liberty sti but recently sold it.. power was ok lol but before my liberty i had a 280rwkw vz ss, so everything seems slow to me at the moment hahaha
I just want something different with a lil bit of boost... more for show... i wont be taking it down the qtr or anything like that... more of a cruiser...
