yeh fair enough. i didn't know there was holes behind the badge. but because i got the JDM taillights i felt a bit silly having 'Legacy' & 'Liberty' in the same vicinity.
so i have temporarily put a gay wrc badge over the holes. doesn't look too bad

LED parkers done. On most cars this is piss easy, but on the early gen 3's they're a bayonette type Parker which I've found very difficult to find, and you must almost completely remove the whole headlight to change them. Once I found them they didn't fit through the hole. Solves this issue in the end. So finally my parkers match my
HID's.

Removing the headlight is only 2 screws and it pretty much falls out? I found it nearly easier than trying to squeeze my hands in and around corners and change it in other cars without taking out the headlight...

I don't know about the facelift/revision D headlights that are in yours, but the older version headlights that are in mine are a pain to remove I found.

Will post a pic tomorrow.

i had to take my whole headlight out (or at least it was easier) to replace the parkers. but as michael said its only 2-3 screws to do so.

Yes, but you too have the revision D. They have an updated headlight design. Whether or not this makes it easier to take out I don't know. But I can't imagine I was doing anything wrong that made it harder than it should have been.

although it looks slightly different at the front, the back of the headlight is almost exactly the same. same locations for plugs.

I understand that. I was thinking that the new shape may make it easier to remove the headlight? This is just a guess though.

These are the ones I bought. If you can, find something that is a bit smaller they would be ideal as they'll go straight in. These do not fit through the hole.
