The plastic part where the metal clip that holds the bulb in hooks under.

Not sure if post-face is different

DIY - good superglue/aryldite/2part epoxy

Alot of people have fixed them in different ways.

My guess, the globes and headlights are fine. You're just looking into it too far, can you even tell when driving or is it just on the wall?

It's probably because the drivers headlight is often aimed differently as to not blind oncoming traffic.

Yeah I used 2 small zip ties. Can get a photo if you want :?: Also the whole headlight needs replacing and the bumper has to come off!

For everyone else.... At the moment I just have the zip ties crossed over the light, it hasnt moved at all so far - and Ive just needed to tighten one of the zips once to get the bulb flat in its place...

Its a pretty stupid weak link... maybe the metal clip shouldnt hold so much retention or something... :?:

I believe that part of the headlight casing should be metal.

Alright - tackled the issue this morning, started off using cable ties but no luck, then decided to move onto paper clips.

long story short, it feels ok. was an absolute pain in the ass to do - lost my phone in the engine bay at one point!

everything seems to be fine, maybe in the next few weeks ill order some baby alligator clips and put them on.

but for now:

also regarding my original problem - gave the globes a very gentle wipe with a cloth, and they seem to been fairly even now.

ive notice that inital issue again and i did a little more research - seems to be a fault with the reflector inside the headlight (whether its burn out, melted, etc). its a black spot in the light.

shit i hope its not a big job replacing the reflector :(
