Hahah.. I'll need a new bottle of tyre shine to get them done! ;-)

Haven't given them a wash yet.. Will take a fresh one with tyre shine for you when I do! :-)

Try PERL. Hamish put me on to it and it's great.

It's water based so you can dilute it. Would look great on your black diffuser / front bar parts too. Makes the STi lip on my car look very deep black and lasts about a month.

Jumped back on the forum today, mostly to ask Clarence how he is finding the S4, but thought I might as well update this thread for anyone still interested...

Got the X detailed a couple of weeks back and snapped a few fresh pics for a 'For Sale' thread... Turns out they must be ok as I had a commitment to buy the car within 24 hours!... Still waiting for the buyer to sort a couple of things out, so its still sitting in my garage, but will be on its way to QLD in the near future.

Anyway... The pics:

Always liked the look of the EvoX, very aggressive! Yours is no exception jimmy!
Think i would still take a Rex though haha!

Nice job with the quick sale too (fingers crossed).
Always makes things easy when it's gone quick :)

That looks great. Love the rear lights. Always though the originals let the rear of the evo's down.

Whats next on the cards then?

Yeah... Only had the X near on 18 months...

Change in circumstances really led to the sale! I have a work car now, which doubles as the family bus on the weekends, so I really don't need to use my car... except for fun, and I want something that is a bit more of a 'toy'.

Looking at a number of different cars, but I want something that hopefully won't half in value after 12 months, sounds and looks great with plenty of sack to keep the occasional track day entertaining and worthwhile. That and be within my budget of (currently around $50k, but looking at saving for a bit to push that to $60k)...

Current short list:

B7 Audi S4 (gotta be manual which are proving very hard to find)
Audi S5
E46 M3
996 911 Carrera/4
987 Cayman S

Problem is most of them are right up in the $60ks which I can't justify stretching to at this stage... E46 M3 and S4(if i can find a manual) are most likely available in my current budget, but I'm just not confident that I will be happy with them long term as a very occasional driver/garage queen...?
