Correct antenna adapter

Hi lads

Recently did a stereo install and need the adapter for the antenna i am unsure which exact adapter i need for my 05 2.5i auto sedan, with the stock stereo

The first one will be fine. You can get them off eBay Aus too.

so i grabed the first one and have crap reception im guessing the 2nd wire is to turn the antenna on or something alike??
