90% sure they are known as shadow chrome - think they only came in shadow chrome or gun metal

I cannot believe I didn't weigh the rim before the tyre went on!
Just because no one has definitively stated the rim weight, for all of us weight-weenies* out there

* OT: the craze for race-spec lightweight mountain bike parts went off late last century.
A combination of many parts failures, lawsuits and recalls - and advances in manufacturing, the craze died out as parts became lighter and more durable.

If the budget allows, try to get your hands on the Jap spec 07 TB STI in 18x8 +48 with a 235 tyre
Not a soobi anymore, but still slightly dirty

I'm retouching dust out of bag photos (it makes me OCD and completely bonkers... both are qualities required to do the work) this forum is a nice distraction... apologies

You should definitely fill out an application via our website... Apparently our new office will have a bar!!!

Back on topic, 06 = wannabe race/rally look 08 = vip/euro look...

I like them both... 06 moreso...

I prefer 06/07 only because they have the JDM version which is 8" wide instead of 7.5"...which I am upgrading to shortly.

Not sure if the 08 version had the 8" version ever...but they aren't available anymore if they did so I'm sticking with 06/07.

As Mark said, it's same/same there isn't too much difference, they both look good in their own way.

Sorry Rome but you are wrong there.
08 comes in 8" in the silver colour and PHAT can still get them because I spoke to him about it 2 weeks ago.

No I'm not Keiran. I spoke to him on Saturday and he confirmed that they aren't available, only the 06/07 8" are still available
