2008 sti Enkei vs. 2006 sti Enkei Wheels

Postby triston » Mon Aug 20, 2012 8:28 pm

Hi All,

just thought I'd pop up some photos of my car with the two different types of STI Enkei wheels, so have a look and comment on which you prefer if you like, unfortunately onset was taken with real camera and the others with ab iphone.

Personally I like the 2008 ones, those the photos don't look too great

I much prefer the 08s ever since Rota did a replica of the older style and now you see them everywhere.

Hamish has a good point re the Rota Gravels..... but regardless I prefers the 2006/07s if I had to choose (i like the inner details of the 2006/07s, as the 2008s appear a bit too simple)

I have the 06/07 and i have always liked the 08.

Buuuuuuuttt in the pics you have the 06/07 look better but in real life i think the 08's look classier and the 06/07 sportier!!!

So no real help unfortunately . Are the 06/07 silver or shadow chrome?? Cant tell as i like silver rims, not black etc etc
Not a Subaru...... Something MUCH better

NOPE..... That's shit too. Bus anyone??

I bought an 18 x 7.5 '06 for a spare, the sticker from AusPost read 15Kg...
Is the '08 similar in weight?

Postage was probably calculated as per weight or volume, whichever is greater. In this case volume, due to the size of the package.

I like the 06/07. More aggressive and look better with the STI nuts.

The 08s look bland.
