E85 mods

I've found a local pump with Flex fuel very near my house. I'm thinking about adjusting my car to burn the sugar.

What exactly do I need? I'm thinking some higher volume fuel pump at least. Maybe bigger injectors but how big?

Already have the Tactrix cable so I'm ready for the tuning.

If anybody has been down this path let me know the details! Cheers

Bigger injectors - go with ID1000s they seem to be the popular choice for the E85 conversion. They are around $500-600 not including install.
Fuel pump - I'd suggest 265l/h as again, this seems to be common among the members I know who have done this conversion.
Fuel regulator - I'd suggest doing this as well.
Tune - Make sure you get it tuned to handle this kind of fuel, preferably before doing any driving after the install.

Unless SARD have changed design, the 265ltr SARD pump I purchased through PHAT GT was not a straight install as the cradle needed slight modification. Michael sent through instructions and it was a pretty easy modification to perform.

Upgrade your fuel lines in the engine bay too

Ethanol doesnt like rubber hoses unless it's specifically alcohol resistant

I'd go braided but that's not a necessity as long as you confirm your rubber hoses are compliant

Change your fuel filter within a couple of tanks of using e85 too as the high alcohol content will clean alot of the crap left over from the shitty 98 or 95 fuel your car has been using for years, and this excess debris and crud will most likely be in your fuel filter (you hope)

Will be changing mine next weekend and will post pics of the results
