Just ordered V18 from Whereis.

By the way does anyone know how you lift up the map slot panel to use the eject button on the McIntosh unit in the Gen V?

I looked at the manual which shows a how to diagram of the non McIntosh unit

Cheers :D

Pull outwards from either end of the McIntosh black panel. Can be a little hard at times but no issues. The first time I had a trim remover as I had just got them in the mail when I decided to do it.

Well I have got my version of V18 C1 working like a treat.

Would have been extremely disappointed had I bought it from whereis, some local roads 2 years old are not mapped in V18, piss weak really

Hi folks,

Thanks very much to cheddar and everybody else for sharing! I've been able to update the maps in my MY12 WRX.

The very high retail price of these maps just seems wrong!
I'd be willing to pay for map updates, but only if they didn't cost more than the retail price of an entire (similarly functional) portable Navigation unit!!

Thanks again!

If C1 is the default disc for an 06 factory sat nav, then yes

Hi everyone, does anyone have a link to the V18 C2 update they could pm me please? My 2010 outback is missing major sections around Vic, so hopefully it is updated.

Thanks.
Good to see the forum going strong, there are lots more new outbacks on the road lately out my way.

Hi there,

I just popped in the V18C2 disk from the previous link. After loading in my Liberty Exiga, I checked the version information.
It still appears 2011 V1.

Is this right? Or it supposes to be 2012 something?
