They'd be real easy to clean, though... With such a smooth surface almost nothing would stick to it!
I was going to procrastinate, but I put it off...

this would be true. to me, they would be best suited on a car like Arith's or Mark's Liberty... something that is just modified all the way down to the very fine details

on a side note, planning on a (eventual) brembo upgrade. Car is black and the wheels im getting will be gunmetal grey
For the colour scheme of the brembo's, im thinking of going metallic black with (as close as i can get them) gunmetal grey/dark grey brembo decals

Thoughts?

I think there needs to be contrast with the decals, so IMO the decals need to be more visible. Perhaps silver decals rather than grey? Or perhaps invert it - black decals on gunmetal grey calipers?

that could work :)

i just dont think going a completely different colour (other than OEM gold) would work too well.

When I got my Brembo's, I test-fitted them in their original gold and of course they looked great, but gold has been done before and I wanted something different. Absolutely no regrets going blue on silver for my car - they look fantastic in the flesh.

Horses for courses of course. Go with what YOU want. The beauty of this thread is that you can see what other colour combos can look like. :)

Go lime green Simon. :D

Black and dark wheels...... you can pretty much go any color brakes and they wont look wrong.

Clack brakes or dark ones will just blend in, unless thats what you want.

There are some interesting paints in the Duplicolor Metalcast range. IMO orange would look good in that combo. That said, while it's a high temp paint, I probably wouldn't suggest it if you're tracking the vehicle.
