Yeah scrubbing a bit at the moment... However I now have myself a bit of a situation.
I've decided I now have 2 options.

1) Camber kit.
Pro's: personally i like the look of camber :) and will be the cheaper option short term... improvement in handling
Con's: Defectable ??? go through tyres like a mofo

2) buy flared rear guards
Pro's: Could have something else a little different, keeps things legal (assuming rims fit under), wont need (hopefully) to camber and will be able keep my tyres longer
Con's: bit pricier than a camber kit in the short term, no guarantee that they rims will fit under new guards and may need to camber anyway, will then want flared front guards too  (could be a pro ?)

Well not sure, I feel at this point sorting out my wheels/guards situation is a priority... but pressumably in 3 months I would say. would love to do it sooner but will all just depend on how much work I have and a variety of other things.

My trip overseas at the end of the rear has just been cut in half, so the spending money I was planning on taking for the first half of the trip can now go towards car bits *yay*

Camber isnt the number one tyre killer, incorrect toe is.

Make sure you get a good alignment every 6 months to keep the toe spot on and your tyres will last longer.

Cheers mark. Obviously its just running off the photos, but from what you can see how much camber do you think im going to need to run to get the wheels under the guards. I'm going to have a chat with my panel beater and see what he might be able to do in terms of pulling the guards out a bit more but I would assume I am going to need to run some degree of camber none the less...

Yes, it would be amazing. And when they get back they will have nothing but useless memories (that you will soon be able to buy at a fraction of the cost of the real thing <total recall anyone??>), and you good sir, would have 2 MASSIVE f*****g turbo's hanging off your 6.

Good day to you

Your car just doubled in replacement cost with all that gear. You'll get a nice crisp sound and a few rattles to boot.

A few rattles is an understatement!

I'd love to hear this one day. Too bad you're in Sydney though :(

Haha hopefully only rattles in the 'right' places. Having the whole car dynamatted so should hopefully minimise any unwanted noise.

there is always the possibility that I'll be doing a trip from sydney to tasmania and back. I did it on the motorbike a few years back and was one of the best trips ever! Every chance when we make it to melbourne I could do a demonstration :D

Rims are going good. I've ordered a white line complete lower rear control arm kit (kta 124) so hopefully that will do enough. Otherwise I'm tempted to put the + 20 on the front and buy some DAMD fenders... Hmm
