WTB: Gen 4 17" wheels

Postby luke89 » Wed Aug 15, 2012 10:27 am

Hi guys,

Looking at getting a set of 17's off a gen 4, for my recently acquired gen 3 wagon. Either the 5 or 6 spoke, ideally with tyres with a few kms left on them.

I'm new here and will get some pics up in the intro section after I level my car up this weekend with king lows in the rear. (I put some old wrx stuff in the front last weekend to be rid of a leaking shock, which saw it drop and inch or slightly more). And with any luck it might be wearing new wheels too!

Let me know if you have a set laying around. Preferably Newcastle/ Central Coast/ Sydney.

Cheers,
Luke

I may know of a set with about 75% if not more tread. How much do you want to spend?

Stew, let me know when the time comes and I may be keen if I haven't already got a set.

Mat, Haven't really got a set figure in mind. Obviously will be dependent on condition and what sort of tyres etc. Let me know if they are indeed for sale and how much the seller is after.

Cheers

Where are you from anyway luke. The time is pretty much whenever actually, theyre in good condition. i think one might have really tiny scratches in the centre. i can take some pics if you need.

I think the going price for these is around $350 - $400 depending on condition. Someone correct me if im wrong.

I'm from Newcastle, but will likely be in Sydney the next couple of weekends.
Yeah, from the bit of searching I've done I'm probably looking to get some with a bit of rubber left for that sort of money though.
