I already had the guards rolled and flared a little and they seem to fit OK for now... a camber kit is what is really needed for these wheels to fit nicer...

So here are a few pictures... I'm just going to throw up pretty much all the ones I took today so sorry if the page takes forever to load or seems congested

So basically I picked up the wheels after uni today and went straight to my mechanic to get the wheels on the car.

started off with the back wheels seeing as they were going to be the ones with the most 'problems' if you will.



as you can probably believe, once I saw this I was a little bit sceptical as to whether or not I had made the right move.



However, once the tyres were fitted it didnt look as obvious how much the rims actually poke out from the car.

I know it is kind of hard to see from the photo's, but here is basically a before and after shot. the before shot being of one side of the car, and the after being the other.





as you can see the wheels certainly fill out the guards. I must admit, for the wheels being 'Chromium Black' there certainly isn't much black about them. Especially with all the pictures of them looking a darkish colour... but i think i actually prefer the gunmetal look about the wheels.

So far I am very happy with them. Once I get the camber kit on then I will take more photos. I think i might have to raise the car a bit more once the sound system goes in as that will be alot of extra weight particularly in the rear.

This. Careful with the camber as you're bound to get uneven tyre wear. I reckon flip the +20s at the back and just go +35s to match the fronts. Aside from that, love the colour and pattern of the rims

As long as your toe is set perfectly you wont get bad wear. Ive been running -3.2 for over a year and my tyres are still fine.

Also curious what size tyres/brand are you running?

What are you using to run that much camber ? I need to arrange something sooner rather than later...

If you can flare the rear guards out a bit without messing them up I think it would look a bit better.
Doesn't look as extreme as I would have expected from that size.

Ive installed a whiteline camber kit but most of it comes naturally from the lowering. Once you lower past a certain point the wheels tend to camber in quite a bit.

If you install the camber kit and maybe flair the gaurd a bit though im sure it will fit nicely.

I don't want to risk trying to flair the guards any more than I already have...but i agree that would be better I reckon.

I'll start looking into the whiteline camber kits.
