Nice and safe 11.2 on 98 and 0.77 lambda on E85(equiv to 11.32 to keep things cool)

Great results mick :).

So was this just retune or did you get the TCU tuned also to help the torque converter?

Mines getting the FMIC put on this weekend. Went 2" and 2.5" piping. then getting a 100octane tune. (19psi)
I Would be super happy to get around the 215kw mark with the auto. Running 100 octane as we hardly have any E85 petty stations down here.

Full retune, the TCU is untuneable :) The auto gear shifts can be controlled by the ECU.

The car was dyno'd at 10kph per sec up to give an even comparison, however the car wants to accelerate at around 15kph per sec now so the dyno figure in the midrange is lower than it is on the road since it will accelerate as fast as it can. To put it into perspective, dyno took 14.5 seconds to go from 3000rpm to rev limit which was close to the road logs on previous tune. New pump fuel tune on the road would be under 10... easily 8 seconds on pump fuel.

I understand how it goes from 3000rpk to red line faster showing acceleration but how does the mid range on the graph be lower than on the rd?

Slowing the dyno down causes gas flow reversion at low rpm. The piston speed acceleration on the road is much higher, so a faster fuel burn rate means more derived crank torque resulting in faster on road acceleration which is only possible from more torque :)

If the Doc ever wants to tow a caravan... then we have an idea of how much wheel torque he has with the extra drag to pull the caravan.
