After a different look

Postby d-chang » Tue Aug 14, 2012 12:56 pm

Hey guys,

This thread might get nowhere... and cause distaste to some... but as the above subject says... after something different.

Through my normal days off watching motoring TV, and seeing through these forums of people fitting Outback bonnets to their Libertys etc, I was wondering then if the specs of the Forester wheels off the '08+ will fit the gen 4's? Obviously with different tyres? What other stuff could you really interchange with the gen 4 sedans?

This is pretty much an open topic... so post away all, open to suggestions, criticisms and the like! :D

This type of rim specifically..
Below car has been gone for quite some time now... blew bottom end bearing and dealership screwed me! Now driving 2008 WRX with ~65k kms on the clock. Only has cat back exhaust and tune by KiDo at the moment! More to come... but slowly!

Purchased recently (12/11/2013), already with: Stage 2 Pedders lowered springs, rear Whiteline sway bar, Advan Racing TCII 18x8 wheels, k&N pod filter, custom 3" exhaust system from turbo back with Magnaflow mufflers. ECUTEK tune of some sort (hopefully soon to be fixed)..... now FIXED!! Now KiDo Tuned!
Added: HID kit, EZ lip equivalents to the front and sides, and various LED treatments, oem boot spoiler, [LGT WRC] plates, GFB Respons BOV for extra Pssscchhh! --> Gone... I couldn't afford it's heart transplant... but keep a look out, as it will come back on sale soon!

Thanks Jack, well my car is only a little 2L non turbo... I gotta stand out some how! hahaha! Yeah those rims are cool too! Are they also the same wheels off an Outback? Coz that's another type of wheel that I thought about, and it wouldn't look too bad on the Libs. I guess with most people going for bigger, I'm just seeing my options at the moment, justifying if I can just make it a little different from the crowd. Especially with now there's soooo many aftermarket wheels around, there's TOO much option! haha!

You know what I need now?! .... I want some of you guys with mad Photoshop skills to mock these wheels up to a Gen IV! hahaha! :D
