Reversed one of the LM centres today.....

Polished the outside (not 100% completed yet) and sanded the small chips out and repainted the centre a slightly darker gold.

Added rear camber bolts in preparation as reversing the centres has taken the offset from +35 to +18...... Its added some nice dish though. :D

Needs the balance checked tomorrow before mounting.

Very nice, and I like the darker center colour better :)

FAIL.....

Offset is too much now and not for a 500km a week car without running ridiculous camber.

Centre returned to stock postion. I'll still refurb them all, but may look at finding a set with a Subaru friendly offset so i can reverse the centre as I prefer the look.

Yes, hence I returned it to stock configuration. I can be bothered with scrapping and rubbing on bumps on a daily drive.

Im thinking of refurbing, reversing the centres and selling to someone with a VW. Theyre actually VW offset anyway. They'd look sweet on a slammed Golf.

yeah that's what I thought ;)

I'd say find something more suitable for the outback. A +35 at most.
