WTB: 3rd Gen Bonnet with scoop.

Hi guys, I have a non turbo 3rd gen, id love to get a bonnet with a scoop like they have on the Gt's. Ideally i'd be driving a GT right now, but unfortunately i'm a P plater. If anyone has a bonnet lying around please get in touch with me. Thanks.

How much did that set u back? Also can u adapt the scoop to the intake?

Not much point to it... Better of spending your $ on handling mods.

It's on its way, the only issue from import monster was that it comes via a shipping container so it takes about 6-8 weeks. Should b here next week so ill figure out what i can do then. Cost me $400 to get it and shipped to Melbourne and the 200 to get it from Melbourne to Bris.

Bit pricey for a bonnet, ill just wait for one to pop up locally if that ever happens, on top of all that you'd need to paint it too, quite a bit of effort haha

Be careful you don't buy the wrong bonnet for your year model. 2001 - 03 Gen3's had a face lift and the bonnet will not fit the first "pre-facelift" model Gen3's without also changing grill,lights & bumper also.

Shame you are in Melb. I have one sitting in the shed to suit a 99/00 & Just repaired some small dents & is in primer.

Keep an eye out on Ebay. That's where I got mine for around $200
