What do you mean?

07 on GTB has self levelling HID's. Theres a bracket on the LHS front control arm that connects to a module that levels the headlight in relation to where the suspension is.

I havent seen alloy arms to suit post facelift Liberty (although Im sure they are out there.)

I did a set for someone and retro fitted the bracket to the alloy arms by fabricating an alloy bracket and welding it to the arm.

Ok now i know what you are talking about lol! I had no freaking idea lol! Do our AUDM cars have this option or my Tuned By STi? If not, do we need to use this feature or can we just replace them as per normal without that self leveling thingo? I found a set on IM for like $30.00... I'll see if i can find the link again...

Nick - all the audm 07 onwards gtb \ tbsti with xenons had these hid levelling sensors mounted on the front and rear passenger side control arms

Mark is saying if you source alloy ones from a jdm, you need to ensure they also have these brackets for the sensors to mount to otherwise your hid's wont auto level - which is illegal

The bracket for the leveling arm is just above the "H7"

The alloy ones dont have it.

Ahhh... Thank you for being so clear... Now i understand... The lower picture is an Impreza alloy control arm though? I am still looking for the link of the liberty one... I am almost certain it had the bracket...

Ah, ok... Looks like the Impreza one... So i went through the 115 "Legacy" pages on Import monster and i could not find that listing... Only two separate Lower Right Hand Alloy Control Arm listings... So do the JDM Legacy have this HID thingo standard also?

There's a whole thread about it on this forum. Mark acquired some jdm legacy spec c lca's and almost had to give them away. They were eventually modded by mark to add the hid leveller bracket which is an audm ADR requirement. They went on someone's Newport blue sedan. I've also seen that bracket added with hose clamps or similar. There was debate here and elsewhere about whether it's a worthy mod as the alloy lca's are not much lighter, less of a crumple zone for surrounding components in an accident and have similar geometry anyway. Correct me if I'm wrong :D
Caster/track adding lca's as found on the STi spec c (?) may possibly be adapted and kiks was alluding to 2012 STi lca's with mods also to add track. That's where my research on the subject concluded
