Chirping noise

Postby rocksy85 » Mon Aug 06, 2012 2:31 pm

I had a clutch kit put on a dual mass flywheel, they inspected it and said its in good order. They replaced the bearings and it's still making a chirping noise. I have lubed up the fork ball and it's still doing it. Can the dual mass flywheel be noisy by itself? It happens when I take off from been stopped and also when I change gears I can hear it a touch. I can't stand this noise

yep, it's the stupid spring mechanism in the DMF

get a loud exhaust or convert to use a proper clutch
