215 or 225 45 17 kumho KU31's?

Postby blkdog » Sun Aug 05, 2012 11:21 am

Hey all,

I'm due for new tyres next week so I thought I might go a bit wider. ATM I've got eagle F1's 215 45 17 they look good but they've always been pretty noisy. Tossing up between the Kumho's & Yokos S Drives. Leaning towards the Kumhos for value and style + ive heard theyre pretty much unbeatable for performance, comfort, duarabilty, price, etc. Any thoughts???

Cheers,

Either.

Ive run both sizes on 7" factory rims.

Ive got the KU31's on currently and no issues for around the town.

so far it still grip nicely but the road noise is starting to get louder

been sound damping my car and the only thing I can't reduce is road/tyres noise
