6 speed conversion

Will this work to convert my 5 speed into 6 speed?

Your car uses completely different hubs in the rear.

The rear R180 is a 3.9. Not sure what ratio your box currently is in the outback, but that box though be a 1:1 final, not the 06 sti's 1.1:1

So if your current rear diff is a 3.9, you just use it with an auto tailshaft.
If your current rear diff is something else, you'd want to find an auto outback 3.0R R180 3.9, or any subaru R160 3.9 from just about every lib/impreza/forester ever.

That also seems to be missing the clutch fork, clutch slave cyl and throwout etc. The 6speeds use a pull type slave cyl, yours is a push.

To remove guesswork, you're best off speaking to someone who knows about them and can do the work for you (who usually has a thousand spares and shit int he workshop to get it done).

Would fitment to an MY07 Gtb present many issues?
