MY08 sat nav SCREEN REPLACEMENT

Hey all,

I have been really struggleing to find a replacement sat-nav unit for my MY08 2.5i (find attached a generic photo of the unit). It is only the screen that is cracked and I am purely guessing; but will this likely involve replacing the entire unit?? I am not sure if just the screen can be replaced...?

Subaru will want my damn kidney if I get them to fix it so I was hoping someone would be able to give me some info or point me in the right direction in regards to a replacement/aftermarket.

the screen is seperte from the rest of the head unit, and like most parts can be purchaced alone.

best guess would be to call subaru and ask get the part number ... you could also ask what a replacement is worth as well...

If your from victoria i would reccommend calling Subaru @ Docklands they seam more helpful the some of the dealers.

Just for reference, it a kenwood screen, hard to get, you just need to make sure it has kenwoods proprietry navi connector which is a 13? or maybe 14 pin din plug. good luck mate.
