Reset trip computer

Postby JLuehman » Mon Jul 23, 2012 11:39 pm

This is possible (and most likely) a stupid question, but how do I reset the trip computer in a MY08 liberty?

I have tried holding in the little stick thing and pressing the "set" steering wheel button but neither worked. Couldn't find any help in the manual either.

Thanks!

I believe you need to be on the trip computer display, then press and hold the stalk on your instrument cluster. Might take half a second.

Use your up/down arrows on your steering wheel until you get to the trip section (A or B, make sure you aren't on the actual odo reading), and press the stalk sticking out of the dash to change to A or B depending on which trip you want to reset. Once on the trip you want to reset, hold it in for a few seconds until you see the kms reset to 0.

It would be good if we could reset the fuel consumption without having to reset the trip meter
