inability to tune factory ecu maybe?
numerous people have had a go at tuning Bruce's car and he's currently still not happy with it.

I'm very happy right now with my KiDo tune. I'm just a very fussy bugger and I can honestly say I'm very happy with my current tune.. :D

Also with reference to Revzone I have no doubt Craig can tune a race car, but I drive a street car and there is a difference in the tune that should be applied.

Ok so a little update.

Lachlan blew my clutch after he had a drive of it. So I now have a new exedy HD one. Better clamp, stiffer and that's about it.

Received a rather large parcel from AVO today.
New TMIC which has been installed already.
Front and rear swaybars, endlinks and bushes
Front and rear under body braces which will be installed tomorrow.

Car will be retuned next week by Matt..can't wait!

So another update. The sway bars and bracing has made a huge difference, but I'm sure everybody knows what they feel like.

Next update, I went out and bought another car.........an 05 golf gti with forged internals and APR stage 2 mods and tune for my daily. So my lib will eventually become a full time track car.

Yes, my daily is currently quicker than my track car

Just everything on the first page I think. And an AVO turbo actuator. ...I think that's it. And p100. Matt reckons he'll be able to push my stock turbo up to 230kw in jan with e85. dunno how that's gonna go, might be a waste of time as I'll be working on bigger things by then.

haha I'm leaving that as it is. Hatchbacks, front wheel drive, chronic understeer etc aren't really things I enjoy. Tbh if it didn't have the mods it has I wouldn't have considered it at all. However, 200kw and DSG..sorta makes up for its lack of manliness and front wheel drive disability.

I know of another GTB (VF46) with just over 200kwatw (non kido tuned though).

Current observations are suggesting the VF46 when pushed seems to be having the goods :good:
